Studying nutrition changed my life. It helped me cut through the confusion of paleo, veganism, plant-based, intermittent fasting, and more to experience lasting energy, vitality, and improved immunity.
It gave me the tools and knowledge to help heal my father, successfully getting him off six medications, losing over 50lbs, and completely recovering his life and health.
This laid the groundwork for starting an online movement that has inspired millions worldwide.
Unfortunately, we aren't taught about real nutrition in school. We have a medical profession that is rarely trained to use food as medicine, and the multi-billion dollar fast-food and pharmaceutical industries thrive on misleading consumers.
Now it's time to take our power back!

We created the Food Matters Nutrition Certification program from the growing need for people to heal themselves (or a loved one) naturally.
We've spent the last 15 years studying nutrition and interviewing experts in food, natural medicine, and mind-body therapies to uncover what's transforming lives today. We helped my father heal from depression chronic fatigue and come off six prescription medicines with this information, and it's only becoming more powerful. The method of healing and good health hasn't changed.
We believe that everyone deserves the right to good health, prosperity, and happiness. We're just making it a little bit easier for you to access.
We can't wait to welcome you to the Food Matters Nutrition Certification Program.
In good health,

Hi I’m Julie from Nebraska, US. I was raised on a poor, processed diet, no proper education on effects of food and never learned how to cook. I struggled my adult life with trying new diets and trends, teaching myself to cook, and I am working on making a change for life. I want to be the expert on my own health. I know my friends and family will see the change in me and I would love to share my knowledge I learn here. Who knows, maybe a future career shift as well🤷🏼♀️ excited to learn more!!
Hi everyone I’m Lorna, and I live in the UK near Oxford. Good nutrition has always been important to me. My parents always bought fresh foods from local farms when I was growing up in the West Country. After doing your 10 day plant based program three years ago I became a vegetarian (although I do eat fish from good sources). I’m keen to expand my knowledge of nutrition and help family and friends, and this program sounded perfect. I’m also thinking of studying for a part-time degree or diploma (time permitting) in nutritional therapy.
Hi I’m Deb I live in the Southern Highlands NSW Australia I’ve always been interested in nutrition since my mum took me to a naturopath when I was a teenager but have always been able to eat whatever and not put on weight until I went through menopause and also started working where I work around 10 years ago. A few years ago I did my version of I quit sugar but the last year it’s gradually crept back in so I want to get back on track and also I feel this will help my husband as well too (& perhaps open other doors) looking forward to it. 😊💕

Greetings from Minnesota, USA! Three years ago I left my corporate job (Engineering) to pursue my dream and start an Adapted Fitness Business for people of all ages with disabilities; FlexAbility Fitness. This was after 10+ years of being a Certified Fitness Chef, nutrition coach, and personal trainer all "on the side" of my full-time job. With the second round of gym closures looming, I've decided to take the time to go back to my first love- nutrition! I need to get myself back on track so I can stay healthy and have the energy to chase kids all day again when things re-open! I am so excited to get started!
A self-paced, guided online study program about nutrition, natural healing, and the mind-body. It was designed for anyone who wants to be able to take care of themselves independently without the reliance on a health care system.
A Nutrition Coach is a certified coach who has a deep knowledge of basic nutrition principles and the skills required to provide nutrition guidance to their clients. Embodying core principles of holistic nutrition and natural medicine using a food as medicine approach to educate and guide their clients (and themselves) to help them achieve their nutrition and health goals and reach optimal health.
There are 2 ways to work through the program and there is no right or wrong way. Either self paced or join one of our guided intakes. Self-paced is ideal for people who like to speed ahead, or those who may need to take a break throughout their studies as life sometimes gets in the way. Our guided intakes run over 10 weeks where you will receive weekly guidance for each module and move through the program with your peers around the world.
You're also invited to join the group ‘start and finish' together with us on Monday, April 4, where we'll complete one module per week, over 10 weeks, which we recommend allocating 10 hours per week.
